
| Rawk-n-Roll Cuisine is a line of raw/vegan/organic shelf-stable snack
foods designed to be as easy on the wallet as they are on the taste
buds. Founded in early 2009 by raw food advocate Ariane Resnick,
formerly the general manager of Juliano's Planet Raw restaurant, the
brand's mission is to enhance the accessibility of high-quality
prepared raw foods to those who are not necessarily in the
economically elite. RnR has a strong focus on furthering the
locavorism movement, and sources produce directly from local farmers.
Additionally, no glutenous ingredients are used in any products, and
all items are dehydrated at 108 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure enzymes
remain alive and intact. (Granolas cannot be guaranteed gluten-free,
as certified GF oat groats are not yet commercially available, but all
kale chips are completely GF.)
What began as a woman with an idealistic business concept and some
culinary prowess quickly became a steadfastly expanding company that
is consistently adding new retail establishments. Founder Ariane Resnick
has succeeded in stepping away from the RnR commercial kitchen and
back into her home one, where she is available for personal chef work.
She is well-versed in nearly all special diets, from raw vegan to sugar and
gluten free, and always utilizes organic ingredients with produce from
farmers markets. As the holidays approach, she offers a varied menu of
delicious baked and raw desserts well-suited for entertaining and celebration.
